What is SevenYays?

It’s a gift for someone you care about. But it’s a whole lot more.

It’s the gift that really keeps on giving. 

It’s just like an advent calendar. Except it’s for any time you like. A countdown* to their special day, or just because you think they deserve a week of yays! 

*Or…..if they really can’t contain their excitement and they’re bursting to open every door at once, well, we won’t tell anyone. But spreading the joy over seven days, that’s way more fun. Trust us.

How does it work?

Most customers choose a Create Your Own SevenYays for that extra-thoughtful personalised touch.

Simply choose six smaller 'Countdown Yays (or gifts)' for doors 1 to 6 and one bigger 'Special Yay' for the final day.

Then choose from one of our fab box designs, pop in your personalised message and choose your delivery date - up to a year ahead!

Then sit back relax and wait for that joyful moment when your friend or loved one realises that you think they're special enough to deserve their very own SevenYays....Yay!

Or...if you don't want to Create Your Own, we have a range of super-convenient pre-curated Ready Made boxes that are guaranteed to bring seven smiles.

What are the rules around giving a SevenYays?

Good question...the rules are...there are no rules!

Some customers time their order to allow their lucky recipient to countdown to their big day. Some prefer to gift SevenYays on the big day itself, meaning that they can extend their celebrations into the following week.

And some recipients of course can't control themselves and have to open all the doors at once. But we don't judge at SevenYays. Honestly 😊

What occasions can I give a SevenYays for?

Well, birthdays...obviously. Big birthdays (that end with a '0'), regular birthdays. Friend's birthdays, family birthdays, your birthday! (Check out our Mystery Yays for a spot of self-gifting!)

But it doesn't stop there. You can give a SevenYays for absolutely any occasion...

Anniversaries, Valentine's, Mother's Day, Father's Day, retirement, new job, good luck, get well soon, new baby, new house, engagement, wedding, exam stress-busters, off to uni, thank you, a gift for clients or staff or just because they deserve a week of Yays!...and oh yeah, Christmas too, plus Diwali, Eid, Hannukah...

What does it cost?

Our Ready Made boxes are individually priced. 

If you’d like to Create Your Own, simply pay the cost of the individual Yays plus £7 to have them lovingly presented as a truly unique personalised gift, including free greeting card. By Creating Your Own SevenYays and choosing the indivdual gifts, you're in control of the total cost of the box.

A range of postage options are provided with standard tracked, express tracked and guaranteed next day choices available at checkout, and standard tracked postage is free when you spend over £50....Yay!

Can I choose to put specific gifts behind each door?

'Countdown Yays' (or gifts) 1-6 are randomly sequenced to enable customers to share the surprises with their lucky recipients. If you prefer your 6 Countdown Yays packing in a specific order, just email hello@sevenyays.com with your request and order number. Please note that:

- the 7th 'Special Yay' is behind a bigger final door and its position is fixed.

- this option only applies to Create Your Own orders.

- requests must be received prior to order being packed.

Why can't I select certain gifts for door 7?

Each SevenYays box has 6 smaller doors and 1 bigger door for the final day.

When you Create Your Own box you will be offered a range of smaller gifts for the first 6 doors and a different range of larger sized gifts for the door 7.

It is not possible to choose the smaller gifts for door 7 (they would look lost and rattle around!), or larger gifts for doors 1-6 (they wouldn't fit!)

 

Are any prices shown in the packaging?

Not at all! That would ruin all the fun and joy wouldn’t it? Your recipient won’t see anything other than the wonderful gifts when they open each door, along with your choice of greeting card and personalised message.

Can I order just the empty calendar?

For a limited period only, we have finally decided to sell our unique SevenYays boxes empty for you to fill with your own personalised messages and gifts at home. Each box is delivered fully constructed and includes a full instructions on how to fill and seal. To order, please click here.

Alternatively, if you want a few of our gifts but also want to include one or two of your own ideas, you can now select a Fill Your Own Countdown Yay or Fill Your Own 'Special Yay' - we'll then leave selected door empty so you can to fill with an extra special gift of your choice.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Absolutely!

We work hard to make sure all our packaging is as eco-friendly as possible and completely recyclable ♻️.

Our cardboard comes from FSC approved sustainable sources and is 100% recyclable. The tray within a SevenYays Box is made from 86% recycled plastic (produced from drinks bottles and other clean plastic waste). It too is 100% recyclable. All our packaging is made in the UK 🇬🇧.

What size is a SevenYays box?

A SevenYays box is 28cm tall, 20cm wide and 10cm deep. Big enough for treats, snug enough to keep them safe!

Can I order multiple SevenYays boxes?

You can order as many different SevenYays boxes as you’d like but, you can only send to one address per transaction.

If you’d like to order several boxes for different addresses, you’ll just need to complete the check-out process each time. 

Are there any allergens in your products?

Some of our edible gifts may contain allergens. You’ll find all the details on the product page and your recipient will find them on the individual item packaging.

Ordering and Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following debit and credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, and Discover.

We also accept payment by PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. 

My delivery address is wrong

Please check your order confirmation carefully. Typos do happen and the last thing we want is for your Yays to go astray. Please contact us immediately at hello@sevenyays.com if you need to change your delivery address for any reason.

My billing address is wrong

Don't worry. Occasionally customers inadvertantly tick the 'Use shipping address as billing address' box at checkout and worry when they see that their billing address is wrong on their order confirmation. This isn't a problem and should not affect your payment going through, plus we do not include any invoices or order details in the box itself. There is no need to contact us if your billing address is wrong.

Can I pre-order for delivery at a later date?

Of course, if you’re one of those super-organised, super-prepared gift givers (or you’re worried you might forget a special occasion), you can order a SevenYays box up to 12 months in advance. 

Just check-out as normal, choose your preferred delivery date using the easy calendar, and we’ll do the rest. 

Should I have the box delivered to myself or directly to the recipient?

It's entirely up to you!

Some customers like to have the box delivered to themselves to give in person. Some prefer to send the box directly to their lucky recipient. 

Either way, we don't include any paperwork/invoices in our boxes.

Delivery

How much is delivery?

We offer 3 delivery options:

  • Royal Mail Standard Tracked (2-3 working days fully tracked) : FREE for orders over £50, otherwise £3.50.
  • Royal Mail Express Tracked (1-2 working days fully tracked) : £2.50 for orders over £50, otherwise £5.00
  • Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day (Monday - Saturday delivery, excluding bank holidays) : £10.00

Orders received before 2pm on weekdays are dispatched on the same day. We don't dispatch at weekends or on Bank Holidays.

If you don't want your order to arrive straight away, you can still order today and choose a delivery date up to a year in advance at checkout.

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at hello@sevenyays.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting us in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Can I change my order?

If you would like to change your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible by email at hello@sevenyays.com and we'll do our best to accomodate your request.

When will my order arrive?

We offer 3 delivery options:

What countries do you ship to?

Currently we only ship within the UK. Please subscribe to keep up to date with future developments.

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates by email at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a Royal Mail tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Do you include invoices in the box?

We don't include any paperwork at all in our boxes, so you can order for delivery straight to your recipient with confidence.

Returns

Our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

We're confident your recipient will ❤️ their SevenYays. If for any reason they don't, then our boxes can be returned within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. 

If anything reaches you (or your recipient) in less than perfect condition please let us know right away so we can arrange a replacement.
