Bird Mix Wildflower Seedballs, A Natural Feeder for Garden Birds

They keep a pair of binoculars on the kitchen windowsill. They know the difference between a chaffinch and a greenfinch. They get properly excited when the goldfinches turn up.

For the person who notices the garden birds, and has probably mentioned more than once that there seem to be fewer of them than there used to be. (They're right. According to the RSPB, UK garden birds have declined by over 50% in the last 45 years.)

These handmade seedballs are a quiet, practical answer. Each ball contains around 30 wildflower seeds, chosen to attract the insects birds love and produce seeds they'll feed on directly.

Scatter them in a pot, a border, or a forgotten corner of the lawn. They'll do the work of a bird feeder, only better. Goldfinches, blue tits, chaffinches, robins, starlings, the whole cast arrives.

It's a thoughtful gift. Not flashy, not throwaway. The kind that says you've paid attention to what they actually care about, and you care about it too.

Yay to that.

What's Included One tin of Bird Mix seedballs from Seedball, containing approximately 30 seeds per ball across six UK wildflower species (Corn Marigold, Common Poppy, Greater Knapweed, Sheep Sorrel, Tufted Vetch and Wild Carrot).
