Pick a box format — Advent Yay (doors to open one by one, building up to the big day), Yay Box (no doors, everything opened at once) or Mini Yay (a smaller, letterbox-friendly format) — then choose a size.

Every box arrives filled with gifts we’ve chosen for the occasion, but it’s not fixed — swap any gift you don’t fancy for something else before it ships.

Pick a box design, add a handwritten message, and choose the date you’d like it to arrive.

The rules are — there are no rules.

Most people count down to the big day, opening one door each morning for a week so the Special Yay lands on the day itself. But your recipient can space them out however they like, save them all for one day, or open the lot in one happy go. It’s their week.

Pretty much any day worth celebrating.

Birthdays, anniversaries and Valentine’s Day. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. A new job, a retirement, good luck or get well soon. A new baby, a new home, an engagement or a wedding. Exams and university send-offs. Thank-yous, client and team gifts, Christmas, Diwali, Eid, Hanukkah — and plenty of “just because” days too.

If someone deserves a fuss, there’s a Seven Yays box for it.

Over 400, across every price point.

Chocolates and candles, fun socks and bath treats, mini spirits and fancy coffee, notebooks, jewellery, card games, keepsakes and more. Most of the range comes from independent British makers.

By default, doors one to six are shuffled into a random order, so every morning is a surprise.

If you’d like a specific sequence, email us at hello@sevenyays.com before we pack your box and we’ll arrange it for you. Door seven always holds your Special Yay.

It’s about the fit.

Door seven has a bigger cavity for your Special Yay, so smaller gifts would rattle around and look a bit lost in there. And the larger door-seven gifts are too big for the smaller doors. We keep the options sensible so every door looks just right when it opens.

Yes — every box includes a handwritten note on it.

Tell us what you’d like it to say at checkout and we’ll write it by hand on quality cream paper, finished with a wax seal. It’s the bit that makes the box unmistakably from you.

No. There are no prices anywhere on the box, the gifts or the packaging.

We don’t include any paperwork, invoices or receipts in the box either — so you can send it straight to the recipient with nothing to give the game away.

Absolutely. Grab one of our empty Seven Yays boxes and fill it with your own gifts at home.

You can also mix and match — pick some gifts from us and leave other doors free using the “empty door” option, then add your own.

Boxes range from £46 – £79, depending on the format and size you choose.

Standard tracked postage is free when you spend over £50.

From time to time, yes.

A few things to know: one code per order, one use per customer, codes can’t be combined with other offers, and they don’t apply to delivery, gift cards or corporate/bulk orders. Codes need to be entered at checkout — we can’t apply them afterwards.

We currently deliver within the UK and the Isle of Man. We don’t ship internationally at the moment.

All our options are tracked with Royal Mail:

• Standard Tracked (2–3 working days): Free over £50, otherwise £3.50
• Express Tracked (1–2 working days): £2.50 over £50, otherwise £5.00
• Guaranteed Next Day (next working day, Monday–Saturday, excluding bank holidays): £10.00

Orders placed before 2pm on a weekday are dispatched the same day. We don’t dispatch at weekends or on bank holidays.

Yes. We’ll keep you updated by email at every stage, and your delivery confirmation includes a Royal Mail tracking reference.

It’s sent to your email automatically the moment you order.

If it’s not there within 24 hours, have a quick look in your spam or junk folder. Still nothing? Email hello@sevenyays.com and we’ll sort it.

Whichever suits you — it’s entirely your call.

Because there’s no paperwork or pricing inside, lots of people send the box directly to the recipient. If you’d rather check it over first (or hand it over in person), have it sent to you.

Of course. You can order as many as you like.

One thing to note: each order goes to a single delivery address. If you’re sending boxes to different people, place a separate order for each address.

Yes — you can schedule a box up to 12 months in advance.

Choose your delivery date at checkout and we’ll take care of the timing. It’s the easiest way to never forget a birthday again — set it now and we’ll make sure it lands on the right day.

Aim for the box to arrive about seven days before the occasion.

That way your recipient can open one door each morning and reach the Special Yay behind door seven on the day itself. We print a “do not open until” date on the box to help.

If your delivery address is wrong, tell us straight away so we can fix it before dispatch. If your billing address is wrong, don’t worry — that won’t stop your payment going through.

Some of our edible gifts may contain allergens.

You’ll find allergen information on each product’s page, and on the packaging of the individual item when it arrives. If you’re buying for someone with an allergy, check the product pages as you build the box.

Yes. Some of our gifts are alcoholic (think mini gins and prosecco), so those boxes are only for recipients aged 18 or over.

If you’re building a box for someone under 18, just leave the alcohol out and choose from the rest of the range.

The box is 28cm tall, 20cm wide and 10cm deep.

The cavities behind the doors are:

• Doors 1–6: 65mm × 95mm × 45mm
• Door 7: 155mm × 95mm × 45mm

Yes, and it matters to us.

Our cardboard is 100% recyclable and comes from FSC-approved sources. The trays are made from 86% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable. All of it is made in the UK.

We want you to love it, so if something’s not right, tell us.

You can return a box within 14 days of receipt for a full refund if you’re not satisfied. If anything arrives damaged, let us know and we’ll replace it straight away. Email hello@sevenyays.com and we’ll look after you.

Yes — one box for a key client, or fifty for the whole team.

Seven Yays works brilliantly for new-starter welcomes, work anniversaries, recognition and milestones, client thank-yous and renewals, and Christmas. For remote teams, we can schedule boxes to arrive at everyone’s home on the same day, and branded packaging is available on larger orders.
