This semi-solid hand balm is the little nudge they need to actually pause for a moment. No water required, no fuss – just sweep it across the skin, rub it in, and let it do its thing. It sinks in, stays on, and gets to work moisturising skin that has been quietly putting up with a lot.

Handmade in small batches by Deryn Wen Gifts in North Wales, each balm comes in four naturally scented blends – Lavender, Lavender & Tea Tree, Lemon & Peppermint, and Lemon & Sweet Orange. The 34g push tube is made entirely from biodegradable kraft paper, so it is as kind to the planet as it is to their skin.

Tucked inside a gift box, this says something rather lovely. It says you noticed. You noticed the dry patches, the cracked knuckles, the way they never quite get around to looking after themselves. And you thought they deserved better.
