How to Personalise Your Seven Yays Box: 7 Ways to Make It Theirs

Our website has had a refresh, and there are even more ways to create a box that feels like it was made just for them.

Whether you're a Seven Yays regular or sending your very first box, here are seven ways to make every door count. One for each door, of course.

1. Start With the Box That Suits Them

Every Seven Yays box starts as one of our three ready-made boxes: Classic, Premium or Showpiece, starting from £46. Each one is handpicked by our team, with seven gifts we know work beautifully together.

Love it as it is? Perfect, it's ready to go. Want to make it even more them? Read on.

Not sure where to start? You can search our website by occasion, by who it's for or by age, so you'll find the right box for them. Try our birthday gifts, anniversary gifts or Christmas gifts to get started.

2. Choose the Box Design for the Occasion

The outside matters too. Choose the box design that suits the moment, whether it's a birthday, an anniversary, a milestone or simply a "thinking of you". It's the first thing they'll see when it lands on the doorstep, so it sets the tone for the whole week.

3. Swap in Gifts That Are Perfectly Them

This is where the magic happens. Customise your box to your heart's content by swapping in gifts that fit who they are. A gin lover? Pop in a Masons of Yorkshire gin miniature. A cosy-night-in type? Add a Wild Olive soy candle. Someone who loves a giggle? The Dad Jokes game is guaranteed laughs.

You can also upgrade any gift to something a little more special, so every door feels like it was chosen with them in mind. (Because it was.)

4. Make Door Seven Extra Special

Door seven is the grand finale, the biggest surprise of the week. It's the perfect place for a gift they'll keep, like a piece of jewellery from Estella Bartlett or a keepsake ceramic hand-printed by our team in Liverpool.

Plan your countdown so door seven opens on the big day itself, and the whole week builds up to one very happy moment. Need ideas? Here's how to choose the perfect special gift for your box.

5. Write a Message From the Heart

Every box comes with a letter, handwritten by our team and sealed with wax. Just type your message at checkout, and we'll do the rest. The wax seal makes it a keepsake they'll want to hold on to.

Stuck for words? Our guide to writing the perfect gift message has ideas for every occasion, from funny to heartfelt.

6. Pick the Perfect Delivery Date

Timing is everything. You choose the day your box arrives, up to 12 months ahead, so you can plan birthdays and anniversaries early and relax. We'll take care of the rest.

For a birthday, aim for the box to land a week before the big day, so door seven opens right on time. Need it sooner? Select next-day delivery at checkout for £10 (order before 2pm). And there's free UK delivery on orders over £50.

7. Add the Finishing Touches

A couple of little extras make a big difference:

• Delivery instructions, so the box ends up in exactly the right place
• A note telling them when to start, so the countdown begins on the right morning

It's the little details that turn a lovely gift into an unforgettable week.
