• New Forest Shortbread. Baked in small batches in the New Forest. Their Original took a Gold Star at the Great Taste Awards.
• Traybakes, Cumbria. Handmade traybakes baked in small batches, using traditional recipes passed down through generations.
• Bloomtown, Cornwall. Award-winning vegan skincare, blended and poured by hand in their Cornish workshop (and as seen on Dragons' Den).
• Deryn Wen Gifts, North Wales. Hand balms and wax melts made in small batches, in biodegradable packaging.
• Seedball, North London. Hand-made wildflower seed balls that help bees, butterflies and garden birds.
• The Make Arcade, Salisbury. Cross-stitch kits designed and put together by Ruth and her team in their small studio.
• Walker's Nonsuch, Stoke-on-Trent. Proper toffee, made by the same family business since 1894.

We should be upfront about this: not every single product in our range comes from a small independent business. Some items come from larger suppliers, and that's a deliberate choice too.

Sometimes a larger supplier offers the best version of a particular product. Sometimes they're the ones with the range, the consistency, or the specific item that our customers are looking for. We'd rather include a brilliant product from a bigger brand than a mediocre one from a smaller one just to tick a box.

Sustainability. From ingredients to packaging, we look for suppliers who share our values around doing things responsibly. This applies to our independent makers and our larger partners alike.
