The Joy Multiplier: Why 7 Is the Magic Number

Why stop at one surprise?

We built SevenYays around the idea that gifting should last longer. But not too long. Seven days hits the sweet spot: just enough to create rhythm, build anticipation, and turn one celebration into a whole week of joy.

Why Seven Works

Seven is a number that shows up everywhere: 7 days in a week, 7 colours in a rainbow, 7 wonders of the world.

Coincidence? Maybe. But we think there's something to it.

"Something to open all week" "Each day felt special in its own way"

Our boxes tap into that natural rhythm. It's long enough to feel meaningful. Short enough to stay exciting.

The Natural Flow of the Experience

Day 1: The teaser. The excitement starts.

Days 2-6: The middle magic. Momentum, surprise, curiosity.

Day 7: The grand finale. A meaningful end to a joyful build-up.

"She saved the biggest gift for the last day, and loved every minute leading up to it."

The countdown format gives gifters a full week of connection and receivers a reason to smile daily.

A Shift in Gifting Culture

We're seeing it everywhere: people want meaning, not just more stuff.

Our boxes fit this shift. They're:

✨ Thoughtful, not flashy

🎁 Experiential, not excessive

⏳ Designed to stretch the joy over time

"It made me feel celebrated every single day. I didn't want it to end."

Once you experience a 7-day gift, it's hard to go back.
